BREAKING: NBA-SPIDEL Extends Free Airport Transfer Deadline to November 4 for Conference Delegates
The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) has extended the deadline for delegates attending its 2026 Annual Conference to submit their flight itineraries for free airport transfer arrangements to Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The extension provides additional time for lawyers and other registered participants who are yet to submit their travel details to take advantage of the transportation arrangements being made by the Conference Planning Committee.

In its earlier advisory, the committee had requested that delegates submit their flight itineraries by November 1. However, following the extension, participants now have until November 4 to forward their travel information to facilitate proper coordination of airport pick-up and departure transfers.

According to the Conference Planning Committee, airport pick-up arrangements will be available for delegates arriving on November 9, while departure transfers will be organised for participants leaving on November 13, 2026.

The designated airports are Enugu, Port Harcourt International Airport and Uyo, with Owerri Airport included subject to its operational status.

Delegates are required to submit their flight details to Dr. Lilian Ojimma, Secretary of the NBA-SPIDEL 2026 Conference Planning Committee, via 08033308954 or WhatsApp through https://wa.me/2348033308954.

With the revised deadline approaching, delegates who intend to benefit from the complimentary airport transfer service are encouraged to send their itineraries promptly rather than wait until the final day. Timely submission will assist the organisers in coordinating arrivals, transportation schedules and departure arrangements across the designated airports.

The NBA-SPIDEL 2026 Annual Conference will hold from November 9 to 13, 2026, at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, Abia State, under the theme “In Public Interest: Advancing Justice, Democracy and Development.”

Arrival and pre-conference activities are scheduled for November 9, with the conference expected to bring together legal practitioners, judges, academics, policymakers and other stakeholders to deliberate on issues affecting public interest, justice, democracy and national development.

Delegates are encouraged to take advantage of the extended deadline and complete their travel information submission by November 4 to facilitate a smooth arrival and departure experience.
