My brother, my friend, my President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN!
Today, as the drums roll in Nnewi and the red caps tilt in salute, we’re not just witnessing a coronation, we’re watching destiny keep its appointment.
You see, some men chase greatness; others are simply followed by it. You, Mazi, belong to that rare breed whose steps command both respect and affection.
From the courtroom to the corridors of the Nigerian Bar Association, you’ve carried grace like a second skin, firm, humble, witty, and deeply human.

They say titles find the head that fits, and truly, this one fits you like a crown woven by purpose itself.
You’ve led with vision, you’ve served with heart, and you’ve inspired with laughter, the kind that disarms even the fiercest debate.
(laughs) And honestly, I still maintain that if leadership were a case file, you’d have long earned a judgment in your favour, unanimously, per curiam!
My dear brother, as you take on this new honour in Nnewi, may wisdom expand, may grace overflow, and may your story continue to remind us that true greatness is service wearing a smile.
“The crown doesn’t make the man; it only reveals the king who has always been within.”
Congratulations once again, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, the people’s President, the Bar’s pride, and now… the Chief who needs no introduction.
May your reign in every sphere continue to bring light.

From your brother,
Harris Paul Ogbole, Esq.
