My Distinguished Colleagues,
On behalf of the entire #BBOLD Campaign Council, I bring you warm greetings and our profound appreciation.
The just-concluded NBA National Elections have come and gone. By the grace of God and your votes, we have made history.
To every member of the Nigerian Bar Association who voted, canvassed, prayed, and believed in the vision of a “BOLDER BAR” thank you.

To our Branch Chairmen and Secretaries who opened their doors to us; to young lawyers and female lawyers who spread the BBOLD message; to senior colleagues and Bar leaders who mentored and stood firm; and to the volunteers who worked day and night, this victory belongs to all of us.
This election was never about an individual. It was about the future of our Bar. It was about building an NBA that is bolder in defending the rule of law, more responsive to the welfare of its members, and one that works for every lawyer, regardless of location, age, gender, or seniority at the Bar.
We are deeply humbled by the confidence you have reposed in the leader of the BBOLD Tribe. The mandate you have given her is sacred, and she is ready to serve with courage, integrity, and her whole being.
We also congratulate our fellow contestants. Your participation has enriched our democracy. The Bar needs your ideas and experience, and we look forward to working with you to build a stronger, more united Association.
To the ECNBA, the NBA Secretariat, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, and every stakeholder who contributed to this process, we say thank you.

Esteemed colleagues, the time is BOLD O’CLOCK!
The promises made during this campaign will be kept:
- Member Welfare will be prioritised from insurance and capacity building to support for lawyers in distress.
- The Rule of Law will be defended boldly and consistently.
- Inclusivity and Transparency will define how the affairs of the Bar are conducted.
- The Bar will fight for its members. Lawyers will be respected, protected, and placed at the forefront of all that the Bar does.
- Technology and Capacity Building will be deployed to make our members more competitive and effective.
Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, cannot do this alone. A BOLDER BAR can only be built together. As the saying goes, “If you want to go quickly, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” We want to go far. We therefore solicit your continued support, ideas, prayers, and partnership.
On behalf of the #BBOLD Campaign Council, we thank you once again for your trust. Above all, we thank the Almighty God for this victory.
Congratulations to the Nigerian Bar Association.
Congratulations to Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN.
This is BOLD O’CLOCK.
