It is another moment of celebration as distinguished legal practitioner, public servant, Christian leader, and philanthropist, Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, SAN, PhD, marks his birthday today, Monday, July 27, 2026, in gratitude to God for a life defined by purpose, service, and enduring impact.
Widely respected for his unwavering commitment to justice, leadership, and nation-building, Dr. Ubani’s journey has been one of excellence and selfless service. Over the years, he has held several notable leadership positions, including Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chairman of the NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), and currently serves as Chairman of the NBA Electoral Reform Committee. He is also the Legal Adviser to the President of the Senate, Assemblies of God Nigeria, and provides legal counsel to several corporate and charitable organisations.
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law, Dr. Ubani is proudly recognised as the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria from Ikwuano, Abia State, a distinction that continues to inspire many within and beyond the legal profession.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Ubani remains deeply devoted to Christian service. He is an Ambassador of the Kingdom in Assemblies of God Nigeria, a dedicated Deacon of the Church, a committed Clasfonite, and a former President of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Allen Executive Chapter. During his tenure, he made history by pioneering the establishment of two new fellowship chapters in a single day, a remarkable testament to his passion for evangelism and leadership.
As he celebrates another year of God’s abundant grace and faithfulness, Dr. Ubani gives all glory to Almighty God for His unfailing mercy, favour, and guidance throughout his life’s journey.
