NBAWF Anambra State Partners with NBA Idemili Branch to Empower Female Lawyers

On the 15th of November 2024, the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), Anambra State Chapter, embarked on an advocacy and sensitization visit to the NBA Idemili Branch.

The purpose of the visit was to enlighten female legal practitioners about the importance of excelling in their legal careers, promote the values and objectives of the NBAWF, and encourage active participation in the forum.

The delegation was led by the NBAWF State Lead for Anambra State, Amara Muojeke, accompanied by:

Lauretta Ikwuka, NBAWF Onitsha Branch Facilitator

Obianuju Unique Nwakpadolu, NBAWF Awka Branch Facilitator

The team received a warm and enthusiastic reception from the Branch Chairman, Betsy Nnaji, who is an active member of the NBAWF, as well as elders and members of the branch. A notable highlight of the event was the encouraging support from senior members of the branch, both male and female, who emphasized the importance of NBAWF membership and urged all female members to join the forum.

The NBAWF delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Betsy Nnaji, Esq., for her exceptional support and hospitality, which contributed immensely to the success of the visit. They also extended special appreciation to Dame Nkoli Ashara, the NBAWF Idemili Branch Facilitator, for her dedication and efforts.

The NBAWF Anambra State Chapter celebrates this successful outing and looks forward to building stronger collaborations with the NBA Idemili Branch in future initiatives.
