The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has streamlined the process for members to apply for a Letter of Good Standing through its online portal, ensuring faster access and improved convenience.
According to the Association, members are required to log in to the NBA portal, where the application can be completed via the Digital Centre tab on their dashboard. Once there, applicants will find the “Letter of Good Standing” option, which provides two sections: New Application and Application History.
By selecting ‘New Application’, members will be able to view their personal details in a pre-filled, non-editable format. Applicants must then proceed to input the details of the recipient organization, carefully ensuring accuracy in all required fields.
The portal enables applicants to review their submitted information before proceeding to payment. Upon successful payment, the system redirects members to the Application History section, where they can track the status of their request.
Once an application is approved, the status automatically updates to “Approved”. A copy of the Letter of Good Standing is then sent directly to the recipient’s email address, while members can also download a copy from their dashboards.
