The Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch, has highlighted the importance of effective local government administration to national development during an engagement in Kuje Area Council, Abuja.
The Branch participated in activities marking the first 100 days in office of the Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo.
NBA Gwagwalada Branch Chairman N. D. Abdulsalam, Esq., delivered an address on the role of local government administration in national development.
According to the Branch’s official account of the engagement, Abdulsalam emphasised the position of local government as the tier of governance closest to citizens and its importance in grassroots development and effective delivery of public services.
The Branch described its participation as an opportunity to contribute to discussions surrounding grassroots administration and national development.
