Today, Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., Past National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), joined the NBA, Civil Society Organizations, and the global legal community in commemorating International Human Rights Day 2025.

Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Human Rights: Our Everyday Essentials”, Ohagba described it as a profound reminder that rights are the very heartbeat of dignity, freedom, and humanity.

He extended his appreciation to all courageous crusaders for human rights and social justice, noting that their resilience ignites hope in the oppressed, lights the path of justice, and inspires others to be more emboldened in the pursuit of justice, equality, and fairness.

Ohagba called on all stakeholders to use the day as an opportunity to renew collective commitment to protect, uplift, and honor the rights of every individual, everywhere, and at all times.
