The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Osogbo Branch hosted a truly unforgettable Law Dinner as part of its 2025 Law Week celebrations — an evening that masterfully blended elegance, humour, and unity among members of the legal profession.
One of the standout moments of the night came as Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya FCIArb (Mrs. B), in her signature style, proposed the toast to the Bar, the Bench, and the Legislature with warmth, eloquence, and grace. Her words captured the spirit of the evening — a celebration not only of professional excellence but of fellowship and joy.
Adding even more sparkle to the night was the dynamic presence of Rt. Hon. Prince Adewale Egbedun, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, who was honoured with a Distinguished Service Award. The high point? A spontaneous and spirited dance-off between Speaker Egbedun and Mrs. B that had the entire room on its feet in laughter and applause. Their infectious energy underscored the deep bonds of camaraderie that define the legal community in Osogbo and beyond.
The Law Dinner was a fitting crescendo to a week of intellectual discourse, reflection, and celebration. It provided a relaxed yet refined platform for legal professionals to connect beyond the courtroom and conference hall.

Kudos to the Law Week Planning Committee, led by the capable Mrs. S.O. Ola, for curating an evening that perfectly embodied the vibrancy and unity of the Osogbo Bar.
