We stand firmly by our statement, which never stated that you stepped down for Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, and we respectfully encourage you to read the statement again in it’s proper context.

The video showing exactly what transpired in Ibadan is currently trending and is clear and unambiguous. Our statement merely expressed deep appreciation for the effect of your action.

You stepped down for Aare Akinboro, which consequently left Mrs. B is the only female in the presidential race.

Your decision contributes positively to inclusiveness and balance within the NBA presidential race, even though it may not have been your primary intention, and we acknowledge and appreciate its impact.
