The Chairman of the NBA-Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF) National Summit Planning Committee, Precious Umoroye Abi, has expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Okrika Branch, for sponsoring Young Lawyers from the Branch to attend the forthcoming NBA-YLF National Summit in Port Harcourt.

Commending the gesture, Abi described the support as a strong demonstration of commitment to mentorship, capacity building, and the future of the legal profession, noting that such investments in young lawyers strengthen the Bar as a whole.
Speaking on behalf of the Branch, the Chairman of the NBA Okrika Branch, Mr. Tamunosiki A. Roberts, stated that the sponsorship aligns with the long-standing tradition of the Bar, where senior members deliberately support Young Lawyers, particularly in programmes that enhance professional skills, exposure, and networking opportunities.

He emphasized that initiatives such as the NBA-YLF National Summit play a critical role in grooming competent, confident, and well-connected young professionals for leadership in the legal profession.
The NBA-YLF National Summit is scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from 22nd to 24th April, 2026, and is expected to convene Young Lawyers from across the country for learning, engagement, and collaboration.
