The Nigeria Police Force has notified residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) about a crisis response simulation exercise scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2024. The exercise, organized in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), will occur around the Idu Train Station between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated in a press release that the exercise is part of the Federal Government’s strategic efforts to enhance the operational preparedness of security forces to tackle emerging security threats across Nigeria.
Adejobi emphasised, “In furtherance of efforts in combating all forms of crimes and criminality in Nigeria, the Federal Government has initiated a joint operation and training exercise to prepare security forces to respond appropriately and adequately to security threats in Nigeria.”
