The Nigerian Bar Association-Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF) Editorial Committee is inviting submissions of well-researched and original articles, statutes reviews, and case reviews on emerging legal areas for publication in the maiden edition of its Journal of Law and Society, scheduled for release in February 2026.
The journal, a double-blind peer-reviewed publication, will focus on diverse aspects of the legal profession including ADR, Fundamental Rights, Employment Law, Criminal and Administrative Law, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, Data Analysis, Medical and Sports Law, and other emerging areas of law. This first edition will be published as Volume 1, Issue 1 (2025-2026).
Submission Guidelines:
- Only lawyers called to the Nigerian Bar between 2018 and 2025 are eligible.
- Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, in UK English, with Times New Roman, font size 12.
- Authors must adhere to the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) citation guidelines.
- Each submission should include an abstract of no more than 250 words and an abridged resume.
- Articles should not exceed 25 pages.
