The Nigerian Bar Association Women’s Forum (NBAWF), Edo State Chapter, has announced an Enlightenment, Empowerment and Capacity Building Programme designed to advance professional growth, equality, and practical legal skills among female lawyers.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 31st January 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, and will be hosted virtually via Zoom, making it accessible to participants across the state and beyond.
Themed “Sisters in Law: Advancing Equality, Notary Public in Focus,” the session will spotlight the strategic relevance of notarial practice while reinforcing the role of women lawyers in promoting equality and leadership within the profession.
In-House Speaker
The programme will feature Mariam Erakhoba Ilavbare, a seasoned legal practitioner and Notary Public, as the in-house speaker. She holds LLB, BL, LLM (UK), ACIArb (UK/Nig), Aciota Ng qualifications and currently serves as President, Princely Solicitors and Arbitrators.
