The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch (Caliphate Bar), has commended the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu, FCNA, for sponsoring 10 lawyers from the Private Bar to attend the 2025 NBA Annual General Conference in Enugu.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Rashidat Mohammed, Esq., the branch described the governor’s gesture as a demonstration of his commitment to the advancement of the Bar and the continuous professional development of legal practitioners.
The NBA Sokoto noted that the sponsorship underscores Gov. Aliyu’s dedication to human capital development and his recognition of the vital role lawyers play in promoting justice, democracy, and good governance.
The association also expressed gratitude to the Sokoto State Attorney General, Hon. Nasiru Muhammad Binji, Esq., and the Executive Director Legal/Secretary of the Sokoto State Internal Revenue Service, Mohammad Bello Abdullah, Esq., for facilitating the sponsorship process.
The Caliphate Bar prayed for Allah’s continued wisdom, protection, and success for Gov. Aliyu in the discharge of his responsibilities to the people of Sokoto State.
