In a major infrastructural milestone, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has officially laid the foundation for the NBA Ikare Akoko Branch Bar House.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held at Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, marks a significant step in enhancing legal practice and providing a conducive environment for lawyers within the branch.

In his remarks, Mazi Osigwe lauded the leadership and members of the Ikare Akoko Branch for their unwavering commitment to the legal profession and their drive to establish a befitting Bar House.

He emphasized that the project is not merely a physical structure but a legacy that will promote continuous professional development, strengthen the Bar’s unity, and improve legal service delivery.

“This Bar House will serve as a rallying point for legal practitioners in this branch. It will provide an enabling space for learning, mentorship, and collaboration, ensuring that lawyers here can thrive in their profession. I commend the leadership of the branch for taking this bold initiative,” Mazi Afam Osigwe stated.

The event witnessed the presence of senior members of the Bar, judicial officers, legal practitioners, and other dignitaries who applauded the move as a critical step toward improving legal practice in the region.
