Abuja, Nigeria – The Nigerian Bar Association Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) has issued a call to all legal practitioners to sign up on its official portalwww.nbaicle.org — as part of efforts to streamline access to Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) programs and resources.

According to the Institute, signing up on the portal is the first critical step toward tracking Continuing Legal Education (CLE) points, meeting annual professional obligations, and staying connected to curated learning tailored for Nigerian lawyers.

In an official statement, the NBA-ICLE emphasized that the platform provides lawyers with:

  • Direct access to NBA-accredited trainings and CPD courses
  • Real-time CPD/CLE point tracking
  • Professional development resources
  • Notifications on upcoming trainings and compliance requirements

How to Sign Up on the NBA-ICLE Portal:

  • Visit nbaicle.org
  • Click “Sign Up” at the top right corner
  • Enter your details exactly as they appear on your Call to Bar certificate
  • Input a valid email address and your full Supreme Court Number (e.g., SCN000111)
  • Preview and confirm your information
  • Click Submit

Lawyers are encouraged to take this step early to ensure uninterrupted access to training and compliance documentation, especially as MCPD compliance is now mandatory for practice license renewal under the Rules of Professional Conduct 2023.
