In commemoration of Workers’ Day 2025, the Nigerian Bar Association Employment and Labour Relations Committee will hold its Maiden Workers’ Day Interactive Session — a timely and highly significant gathering themed, “Access to Labour Justice for All: Prevention and Resolution of Labour Disputes.”

The session aims to ignite meaningful conversations around improving access to labour justice, bridging systemic gaps, and providing practical pathways for preventing and resolving employment disputes in Nigeria’s evolving work environment.

Hon. Justice B.B. Kanyip
President, National Industrial Court of Nigeria
Justice Benedict Bakwaph Kanyip is a highly respected jurist and the current President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria. He is celebrated for his vast expertise in labour law and for leading crucial reforms to enhance the effectiveness, accessibility, and fairness of labour dispute adjudication nationwide.
