All Notaries Public in Nigeria are required to update their details on the official notary platform at https://notary.gov.ng as part of efforts to create an electronic notaries register.
Required Information:
All Notaries Public are expected to provide the following details:
- File Number
- SCN Number
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Surname
- State of Practice or Current State
- Office Address
- Date Sworn in
- Phone Number
- Legal Mail Address
This exercise is mandatory, and all Notaries Public are urged to comply promptly. It is crucial that the information provided is accurate and complete to ensure seamless registration on the electronic platform.
