In a significant milestone for professional legal development in the Southeast, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Awka Branch has officially been accredited as a certified service provider by the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE).
This development, secured under the forward-looking leadership of the Branch Chairman, Nnamdi Ralph Anagor Esq., positions NBA Awka to offer structured, ICLE-approved trainings to its members—helping them meet the now-compulsory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements at minimal or no cost.
According to the Publicity Secretary, Ozojiofor Michael Esq., the first of such accredited trainings is scheduled to hold during the monthly branch meeting on August 2, 2025, with a session themed:
“Revisiting the Reforms in the New Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Anambra State.”
The training will not only update members on key reforms in criminal procedure but also provide CPD credit hours as mandated by the NBA-ICLE. Members are encouraged to attend and leverage this cost-effective avenue for mandatory professional growth.

This strategic move by NBA Awka underscores its commitment to legal excellence, compliance, and continuous learning within the profession.
