Dr. Mrs. Uchenna Okafor-Agbi, Esq., of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch, has emerged among the latest allottees under the Lawyers’ Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme, with two plots of each available plot size still being offered at the old rate.
Under the scheme, prospective subscribers can secure a plot with a 50 per cent deposit, which also protects them against subsequent price increases. The outstanding balance may be spread over two years through monthly instalments.

Further allocation and inspection opportunities have been scheduled in Abuja as follows:
- Monday, 9 November 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, 10 November 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 11 November 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 12 November 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, 13 November 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to attend the inspection or nominate someone in Abuja to inspect on their behalf.
The scheme also presents an opportunity for subscribers to develop residential properties for rental income, while senior lawyers are encouraged to consider developing staff quarters to ease accommodation challenges faced by younger lawyers.
A facilitator’s fee of at least ₦1.2 million, representing 5 per cent, is also available to individuals who successfully refer subscribers.
TREASURY BILLS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
In a related financial investment announcement, the next Treasury Bills Primary Market Auction bidding is scheduled for 18 November 2026.
The investment groups have announced the following projected upfront yields:
- ₦2.5 million investment group: ₦424,000 upfront yield.
- ₦1 million investment group: ₦169,600 upfront yield.
A postdated cheque for the invested capital will be issued for the one-year investment tenure.
