The Law Crest LLP is today, 7 October 2026, hosting a One-Day Legal Internship Programme for law graduates at its Lagos office environment.

The programme is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Continental Re Centre, 17 Olosa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the firm, the internship is designed to give participants practical insight into legal practice, expose them to experienced practitioners and allow them to interact with other aspiring lawyers and young professionals.

The programme is open to law graduates and is positioned as an introductory experience for people preparing to enter practice or seeking a clearer understanding of how a modern law firm operates.

Bridging the Gap Between Law School and Practice

The initiative addresses a recurring concern in legal education: academic knowledge alone does not necessarily prepare graduates for the realities of client management, professional communication, drafting, deadlines, teamwork and law-firm culture.

Short practical programmes cannot replace pupilage or sustained professional training, but they can give aspiring lawyers early exposure to the expectations of practice.

For graduates deciding between litigation, commercial practice, in-house work or other career paths, direct contact with working lawyers can also help shape early professional choices.

The programme fits into a broader movement within the Nigerian profession toward mentorship, internships and experiential training for younger entrants to the Bar.
