TO: CHAIRMEN AND SECRETARIES OF ALL NON-COMPLIANT NBA BRANCHES

We refer to the initial information regarding the mandatory submission of Branch Resolutions on the enforcement mechanism for the Legal Practitioners’ Remuneration Order 2023.

The Committee notes with concern that 48 Branches are yet to fulfill this crucial requirement. These resolutions are the foundational data required to structure the forthcoming Town Hall Meetings on Enforcement, ensuring that the strategies and compliance mechanisms discussed are tailored to address the specific needs and challenges of every jurisdiction. Non-compliance by any Branch directly jeopardizes the unified and effective implementation of the Remuneration Order across the entire Bar.
