Inspector Clement was last seen on April 23, 2025, after he left for work and never returned. His mobile numbers became unreachable, prompting his wife to file a missing person report. In response, a Police Wireless Message was circulated across divisions and formations in Lagos.
The internal communication, referenced AB: 2680/LS/AP/VOL.1/146, was signed by the Commissioner of Police, Department of Finance and Administration (COMPOL DFA) and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Area ‘B’, Apapa. It read in part:
“Her husband… has not yet returned home since he left to work, and his mobile phone numbers… have not been reachable. Request assistance in circulating the information to other divisions/formations for possible trace of his whereabouts…”
