The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the Accord Party, Ademola Adeleke, winner of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.
The Returning Officer announced the final result during the official collation of results on Sunday, confirming that Adeleke secured a total of 511,067 votes to emerge victorious in the election.
His closest rival, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyebanji, garnered 444,815 votes, while the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 17,180 votes. The African Action Congress (AAC) candidate received 1,458 votes.
INEC also disclosed that 2,339,544 voters were registered for the election, with 1,010,684 voters successfully accredited to participate in the governorship poll.

Following the declaration, Ademola Adeleke has been officially returned as the duly elected Governor of Osun State, bringing the electoral process to a close pending any post-election legal proceedings that may arise.
