A Heartfelt Message of Condolence
NBA Benin Branch: Barth Aniche Okoye, Esq., a member of the Nigerian Bar, has joined the NBA Benin Branch in mourning the sudden passing of Fred Aidenagbon, Esq., a State Counsel with the Edo State Ministry of Justice.
In a solemn condolence message, Barth described the death of the young lawyer as deeply heartbreaking, noting that the Bar has lost a colleague whose life reflected gentleness, humility, and dedication to service.
“I commiserate deeply with the NBA Benin Branch, the legal community, and the family of our departed colleague, Fred Aidenagbon, Esq.

His passing is a painful reminder of how fragile life is and how suddenly a gentle soul can be taken from us,” he stated.
Late Fred Aidenagbon, just was one of those lawyers whose quiet nature spoke louder than words, earning him respect without noise and admiration without controversy.
“The loss of a colleague is never easy, but it is more painful when such a colleague was known for peace, kindness, and good character. The Bar is poorer today because we have lost one of our own,” he added.
“May God Almighty grant eternal rest to the soul of Fred Aidenagbon, Esq., forgive his shortcomings, and grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
“Those who live gently leave deep footprints in the hearts of men.”
I urge members of the Bar to honour the memory of the late lawyer through solidarity, prayers, and compassion, noting that though Fred Aidenagbon’s life was cut short, his memory will remain a blessing within the profession.

Rest in Peace🙏
