GOODWILL MESSAGE
The African Bar Association (AFBA) has, over the years, remained a beacon of unity and purpose for the African legal community, fostering collaboration, professional excellence, and the advancement of justice across our beloved continent.
As members of the African legal family gather in Accra, Ghana, for the 2025 Annual Conference, I celebrate this convergence of brilliant and purposeful minds committed to upholding the rule of law, protecting human rights, and strengthening judicial and democratic institutions across Africa.
AFBA continues to provide a formidable platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and continental integration through law.

The theme of this year’s conference is both timely and inspiring, mirroring our shared vision for a just, peaceful, and prosperous Africa.
I commend the leadership and members of the African Bar Association for their tireless efforts in advancing the cause of justice, and extend my heartfelt appreciation to the host country, Ghana, for their warmth and hospitality.
May this conference inspire fresh ideas, deepen partnerships, and produce tangible outcomes that will strengthen the African legal profession and accelerate the continent’s progress.
I wish all participants fruitful deliberations and a most successful conference.
