Kidnappers Withdraw N100 Million from Anambra Lawmaker’s Account Before Murder

Human rights activist and social media influencer Chude Nnamdi has revealed that the abductors of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, withdrew N100 million from his bank account before killing him.

Nnamdi made this shocking revelation on his verified social media page on Friday, stating that a nurse based in Asaba, Delta State, assisted the criminals in withdrawing the funds.

Details of the Kidnapping and Murder

The lawmaker was reportedly kidnapped and executed on December 26, 2024. According to Nnamdi, the gang, consisting of six individuals, carried out the financial transactions before shooting Azuka twice in the head.

The activist further disclosed that the criminals operate with a native doctor in Asaba who provides them with charms for protection. The gang leader allegedly resides with the native doctor inside a shrine in Asaba.

Arrests Made: Kidnappers, Nurse, and Native Doctor in Custody

Nnamdi reported that all six members of the gang, along with the nurse and the native doctor, have been arrested. The nurse’s pharmacy shop has also been sealed.

He wrote:
“The kidnappers that killed Hon. Justice Azuka collected N100 million from his account before killing him on 26th December 2024. They shot him twice in the head. A nurse from Asaba assisted in withdrawing the money. Their leader lives in a shrine with a native doctor in Asaba.”

Additionally, more than three decomposing bodies were discovered at the 2nd Niger Bridge, where the lawmaker’s remains were found. The gang allegedly admitted that they killed all their victims after extorting them.

Police have Yet to Confirm Reports

Attempts to verify Nnamdi’s claims with the police have been unsuccessful. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, has not responded to calls or messages regarding the case.
