Celebrating Men and Boys – International Men’s Day 2025
Some moments stay with us forever. I remember meeting a young boy, no older than twelve, whose quiet presence carried more weight than the world should ask of any child. When I asked him about his dreams, he simply said, “I just want to be someone my family can depend on.”
Behind that humble answer was a universe of hope, responsibility, and courage. That moment reminded me that the essence of strength is not loud or visible, it is in the quiet sacrifices, the unspoken commitments, and the steady courage to do good even when no one is watching.
Today, on International Men’s Day 2025, with the theme “Celebrating Men and Boys,” we pause to honour men and boys everywhere, fathers, sons, brothers, mentors, leaders—whose strength is measured not by power, but by integrity, empathy, and resilience.

We see the battles you face, the patience you practice, and the courage you carry.
We see your tenderness alongside your responsibility, your ambition alongside your humility.
To the men leading with integrity, to the boys learning that strength is character, to fathers shaping safe spaces, to mentors guiding with patience: your impact is felt, your worth is recognized, and your journey inspires us all.
Today, we celebrate you.
Tomorrow, we walk with you.
Always, we strive together toward a world where men and boys are empowered to thrive, valued for their humanity, and supported to live with purpose.
