The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Committee on the Future of Legal Practice, Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN, has extended a heartfelt Christmas and New Year message to members of the Nigerian Bar, calling for unity, safe journeys during the festive season, and renewed commitment to compassion and service.
In his goodwill message, Ogbole, SAN, encouraged legal practitioners to use the season as a time of reflection, reconnection, and gratitude, noting that Christmas resonates most deeply when shared with family, community, and the less privileged. He emphasised that the bonds of brotherhood within the Bar should extend beyond professional engagement to acts of kindness and generosity that uplift society.
He offered prayers for members travelling to be with loved ones, urging caution on the roads and seeking divine protection for safe departures and safe returns. According to him, the joy of the season is best preserved when lives are protected and families are reunited in peace.
Ogbole, SAN, further reminded members that the true essence of the season lies in sharing—sharing time with family, sharing love with colleagues, and extending support to the vulnerable and underserved. He stressed that these values mirror the noblest ideals of the legal profession: service, empathy, and responsibility to humanity.

He expressed optimism that the New Year will usher in renewed hope, professional fulfilment, and collective progress for the Bar, while wishing members peace, good health, and prosperity in the year ahead.
