The 2025 Annual Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), earlier scheduled to hold from November 18 to 21, 2025, will now take place from December 1 to 5, 2025.
According to the Conference Planning Committee (CPC), the adjustment in date became necessary due to the forthcoming NBA National Executive Council (NBA-NEC) Meeting.
The prestigious Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, will host this year’s Annual Conference, themed:
“A Banner Without Stain: Justice, Accountability and Development.”
The theme underscores SPIDEL’s enduring mission to promote justice, transparency, ethical leadership, and inclusive development in Nigeria.
Chairperson of the Conference Planning Committee, Assoc. Prof. Uju Agomoh, described the forthcoming conference as “a platform for national transformation.”
Meanwhile, the Conference Planning Committee has announced the official opening of the registration portal for the 2025 NBA-SPIDEL Annual Conference, encouraging members of the Bar, the judiciary, civil society, academia, and development partners to register early via www.nbaspidel.ng.
Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the early-bird registration window from October 1 to 31, 2025, as fees will increase progressively across the registration timelines.
The 2025 NBA-SPIDEL Annual Conference promises a dynamic programme of plenary sessions, interactive workshops, exhibitions, networking events, and cultural showcases all designed to foster dialogue, strengthen accountability, and advance justice-driven development in Nigeria.
