The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has declared Nigerian national, Olumide Adebiyi Adediran, wanted after more than two decades on the run. The Bureau has offered a reward of up to $10,000 (₦14 million) for credible information leading to his arrest and conviction.

Adediran allegedly fled in late December 2001, just days before his federal trial was scheduled to begin in the Central District of Illinois, where he faced multiple charges, including bank fraud, identification document fraud, and credit card fraud.

According to the FBI, Adediran attempted to withdraw funds using a fraudulent check in Champaign, Illinois, in August 2001. He was also accused of using stolen personal information of U.S. citizens to open fraudulent bank and credit accounts.

After absconding, he was declared a fugitive for violating his release conditions. On January 2, 2002, a federal arrest warrant was issued against him by the United States District Court, Central District of Illinois, Urbana, charging him with Violation of Conditions of Release.
