The Chairman of the Citizens’ Liberties Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nuhu J. Egya, has extended warm felicitations to members of the legal profession as the new legal year commences.
In his message, Egya described the opening of a new legal year as an opportunity for lawyers to reflect on their noble calling as ministers in the temple of justice. He urged legal practitioners to renew their commitment to the rule of law, the protection of human rights, and the advancement of justice in society.
He further encouraged members of the Bar to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and diligence, ensuring that the legal profession remains a beacon of hope for the oppressed and a voice for the voiceless.

Egya wished all legal practitioners a fruitful and rewarding legal year, praying that the courts be guided by justice and advocacy anchored on truth.
