The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Osogbo Branch is set to kick off its 2025 Law Week today, Thursday, 29th May 2025, with a flagship public lecture scheduled to hold at 11:00 AM at the Adolak Event Centre, Osogbo.
Themed “State and Local Government’s Independence Under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended): A Myth or Reality,” the lecture will set the tone for a week-long engagement on pressing national and legal issues.
About the Moderator:
The event will be moderated by the distinguished Mrs. Badejo Okusanya — a renowned legal practitioner, justice sector expert, and accomplished governance consultant.
With over two decades of experience, Mrs. Badejo has served in key reform-focused roles, driving legislative, judicial, and institutional development programs across Nigeria. She is widely respected for her advocacy for legal empowerment, access to justice, and public interest law.
