In a remarkable stride toward fostering sustainable peace and national cohesion, the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) FCT Abuja Chapter has celebrated the appointment of Sunusi Musa, SAN as the new Chairman of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).
The Forum, led by Amb. Princess Afegbua, commended the Senior Advocate of Nigeria for his longstanding commitment to justice, harmony, and national development.
In a goodwill message, the Forum described his appointment as “a testament to his peace-loving nature, sagacious leadership, and exceptional capacity in human and conflict management.”
“We extend our warmest felicitations to Sunusi Musa SAN on this well-deserved appointment,” the statement read, adding that “his leadership is poised to usher in a renewed era of compassion, strategic dialogue, and impactful resolutions—shaping a more empowered and peaceful society.”

With Musa SAN now at the helm of the IPCR, expectations are high that his tenure will reinforce Nigeria’s peace architecture and promote more inclusive conflict-resolution frameworks on matters of national interest.
