The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Bwari Branch Young Lawyers’ Forum (YLF), is set to host its highly anticipated summit on June 13, 2025, with a formidable figure, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Dumle Maol, Esq., the Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, confirmed as the keynote speaker.

Barr. Dumle Maol is renowned as a dynamic legislator, seasoned legal practitioner, and a fervent advocate for justice, environmental rights, youth development, and social equity.
Hailing from B/Dere Town in Gokana LGA of Rivers State, his current role as Deputy Speaker follows a distinguished tenure where he previously chaired the House Committee on Environment and contributed significantly to the Sports, Finance, Appropriation, and Public Petitions Committees.
His extensive legal career spans both private and public sectors. He previously served as Head of Litigation at J.T. Kpakol & Co. and as Company Secretary of Giolee Global Resources Ltd and is a Senior Partner at Dums Partners & Solicitors.
Demonstrating his commitment to public interest law, he has also provided crucial legal advisory services to the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP).
An alumnus of the Rivers State University (LL.B) and the Nigerian Law School (B.L.), with earlier training from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Barr.
Maol’s dedication to leadership and youth empowerment is long-standing. He previously served as a Student Union Government Speaker and President of the National Union of Ogoni Students Worldwide.
Within the NBA, his service includes roles as Assistant Secretary and Assistant Legal Adviser in both national and branch Young Lawyers Forums, underscoring his deep connection with the younger generation of lawyers.
