Port Harcourt | June 27, 2025
It was a privilege to be part of the recently concluded National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, held in the vibrant city of Port Harcourt.
The event commenced with a warm and elegant cocktail ceremony that brought together brilliant women in law from across the country.
It was an evening filled with meaningful conversations, heartfelt reunions, and a shared sense of purpose rooted in our collective commitment to justice, gender equity, and the advancement of women in the legal profession.

I was particularly inspired by the energy in the room — a powerful reminder that when women gather intentionally, transformation is inevitable. We do not just network; we build bridges, inspire change, and shape the future.
I commend FIDA Nigeria for the consistent dedication to promoting the rights and welfare of women and children and for creating safe and strategic spaces for legal practitioners to connect, learn, and lead.
I look forward to the outcomes that will follow this meeting and the continued progress that lies ahead for our organisation and the legal profession at large.
Warm regards,
