The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) community is in mourning following the tragic passing of Mrs Ndidi Osaemedike-Okeke, a member of the NBA Lagos Branch, who lost her life in the recent Afriland Building fire incident. Her sudden death has thrown her family, colleagues, and the wider legal profession into deep grief.

In a touching condolence message, Professor Foluke Dada-Lawanson expressed profound sadness over the loss, describing it as “a painful tragedy not only to her family but to the entire Lagos Branch and the legal profession.” She extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the NBA Lagos Branch, praying for divine comfort and the strength to bear the heavy loss.

“While we grieve this painful departure, we also hold on to the hope that her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her,” she said, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of Mrs Osaemedike-Okeke’s soul.
