The Chair of the Lawyers in Academia Forum and former 2nd Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Prof. Foluke Dada-Lawanson, has extended warm felicitations to the NBA Gboko Branch on the successful commencement of its 2025 Law Week.

In a goodwill message, Prof. Dada-Lawanson congratulated the Branch Chairman, the Executive Committee, and all members for organizing what she described as a timely and progressive engagement.

She praised the theme of the week—“Modernizing Legal Practice as a Catalyst for Nation Building: Prospects & Challenges”—as both visionary and essential for the future of legal development in Nigeria.

“Modernizing legal practice goes beyond adopting technology,” she noted. “It involves rethinking how we deliver legal services, mentor young lawyers, engage institutions, and uphold justice in a rapidly changing world. It is about relevance, efficiency, and impact.”
