The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), is pleased to announce its highly anticipated Law Week 2025, a landmark event designed to explore and chart the future trajectory of legal practice and opportunities within the profession. The theme for this year’s Law Week is “Unlocking Opportunities: New Frontiers”.
Scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the opening ceremony will commence at 2:00 PM at the Nigerian Bar Association Headquarters, Plot 1101 Mohammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District, Abuja.
The prestigious event will be chaired by Hon. Justice H.Y. Baba, the esteemed Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, whose invaluable leadership and experience will guide the discussions and deliberations.
“The legal profession is continuously evolving, facing both unprecedented challenges and exciting new avenues,” stated Dr Princess Frank-Chukwuani, Chairman of the 2025 Law Week Planning Committee.
“Our theme, ‘Unlocking Opportunities: New Frontiers’, reflects our commitment to equipping legal practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and foresight necessary to thrive in an increasingly dynamic global landscape.
This Law Week will serve as a critical platform for engaging with innovative ideas, fostering professional development, and forging collaborations that will shape the future of law in Nigeria and beyond.”
Law Week 2025 promises a series of engaging sessions, insightful presentations, and networking opportunities, bringing together legal professionals, policymakers, academics, and stakeholders from various sectors.
Participants can expect in-depth discussions on emerging legal areas, technological advancements impacting the profession, and strategies for leveraging new opportunities.
