On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), FCT Abuja Chapter, I am delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to one of our own, Hon. Justice Nkwap Diane Ngummai, on her well-deserved appointment as a Judge of the High Court of Plateau State.
This elevation is a monumental milestone and a fitting recognition of Justice Ngummai’s unyielding passion for justice, exceptional legal acumen, and steadfast dedication to the legal profession. It affirms years of disciplined service, quiet strength, and professional excellence that have defined her journey.
Fondly known to us as “Lady D”, Justice Ngummai has built an admirable career anchored on integrity, composure, and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law. Before her elevation to the Bench, she distinguished herself as a Chief Superintendent of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where she served with distinction as an astute prosecutor, earning widespread respect within the legal community.
Her determination, calm demeanour, and exemplary conduct reflect a deeply disciplined personality and an uncompromising commitment to the highest standards of justice administration. Her journey is not only inspiring but also instructive, particularly to women in law and young professionals who aspire to excellence without compromise.
As a forum, we are immensely proud to celebrate this significant achievement with her. We are confident that Hon. Justice Ngummai will make a lasting impact on the Bench and contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of justice delivery in Plateau State and beyond.
