NBA Women’s Forum Calabar Branch Pays Courtesy Visit to Key Government Institutions

The Nigerian Bar Association Women’s Forum (NBAWF), Calabar Branch, has undertaken a strategic courtesy visit to key government institutions in Cross River State as part of its efforts to deepen collaboration on women empowerment, environmental responsibility, and educational advancement.

The delegation, led by the State Lead, Lady Doris Nduanusi, alongside the Calabar Branch Facilitator, Eno Edet, visited the Ministry of Environment, the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the office of the Former Attorney General of Cross River State, all in Calabar.

The team was warmly received by:

  • Mrs. Rosemary Onah, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment;
  • Mrs. Fidelia Okpoene, Chairman, SUBEB; and
  • Hon. Attah Ochinke, Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Cross River State.

During the visit, the NBAWF representatives, distinguished by their customized shawls and brooches outlined the mission and objectives of the Forum.

Discussions focused on potential areas of partnership, including gender-focused initiatives, environmental sensitization, and educational development programs.

The hosts commended the efforts of the NBA Women’s Forum and expressed their commitment to supporting future initiatives, while also assuring continued collaboration to drive meaningful impact across the state.
