The NBA Women Forum, Imo State, held the third lecture in its 2025 series, themed “Voices of Female Lawyers, Truth and Dignity: Amplifying the Fight Against Human Rights Abuses.”
The event featured a thought-provoking lecture by Ndidi Anike Val-Okeoma, Esq., who, in her opening remarks, celebrated the resilience and dedication of women who have been at the forefront of human rights advocacy. She acknowledged the significant challenges faced by female lawyers who have courageously stood their ground in the pursuit of justice, citing the case of Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan as an example of unwavering commitment to justice despite obstacles.
