The Nigerian Bar Association NBA SAGAMU branch walked their talk at the just concluded 2024 annual law week of the branch.
The last event of the 1st day was a cocktail party which was held at the LATE KEHINDE SOFOLA SAN bar center, Sagamu.
The event of 2nd day Thursday 27th day of June, 2024 was kickstarted by having health session/lecture for the lawyers. The lecture of the bar week which was held at the luxirous Nandas Hotel & Suites Ajegunle, Sagamu with the topic “THE JUSTICEABILITY OF THE FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLE OF STATE POLICY: PROSPECTS FOR NATIONAL ECONOMIC INTEGRATION” was delivered by NURU J. EGUA ESQ. (NBA Chairman Keffi Branch) on behalf of AFAM OSIGWE SAN as the keynote speaker, with HON. JUSTICE O. OGUNFOWORA among the co-discussants and HRM OBA BABATUNDE ADEWALE AJAYI LLB, LLM, FCA, FBR The Akarigbo of Remo Kingdom, Torungbuwa II who was the Royal Father of the day who gave the goodwill message. The lecture was under the Chairmanship of HON. JUSTICE M.A. DIPEOLU, FICMC, FHNR (Chief Judgeof Ogun State) ably represented HON. JUSTICE O. MABEKOJE.
The 3rd day of the event on Friday 28th day of June, 2024 witnessed a mood-charged novelty match between the NBA SAGAMU football team and the Judiciary Staff, Sagamu Division football team which ended 1-0 in favor of NBA SAGAMU team.
The event was rounded off with a marvelous dinner party held at the luxurious Nandas Hotel and Suites, Ajegunle, Sagamu with Judges, lawyers, royal fathers and well wishers gracing the finale of the said bar week event.
