Mazi Afam Osigwe, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, recently led a delegation of Bar leaders to pay homage to His Royal Majesty, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, following his coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba. The visit was in recognition of Prof. Azinge’s remarkable ascension to the revered throne, a momentous occasion not only for the people of Asaba but also for the broader legal and academic communities.
Prof. Azinge, a distinguished legal scholar and former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, has been lauded for his support to the rule of law, scholarship, and justice throughout his illustrious career. Mowah, Esq.; Chukwuma Oseyenim, Esq.; and the Chairman of NBA Asaba Branch, Azuka Maduemezia, Esq., among others. The delegation was joined by past and present Branch Chairmen from Anambra and Asaba, as well as members of the executive committee and leadership of FIDA in the Asaba Branch.
