Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN – 54 Hearty Cheers!
Mazi President,
The Nigerian Bar Association, Okigwe Branch, joins the entire Bar and well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating an icon of the Bar, a quintessential leader, and our own pride – the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, on the auspicious occasion of his 54th Birthday Anniversary.
At 54, your life is a testament to purposeful leadership, courage in the face of tyranny, and an unyielding commitment to the rule of law and the welfare of lawyers.
Since your assumption of office as the President of our great Association, you have demonstrated uncommon vision, humility, and industry. You have rekindled the hope of the young lawyer, restored the voice of the Bar as the conscience of the nation, and shown that leadership is indeed service.
From your welfare programmes to your bold stance on rule of law, human rights and justice sector reforms, you have proven that the Bar is in safe, steady and progressive hands.
You are not just a SAN; you are a Senior Advocate of the people. Not just a leader; you are Mazi – a man of the people. Your simplicity, accessibility and fatherly counsel continue to inspire Branches like ours in the hinterland to believe again in the NBA.
As you celebrate 54 today, we in Okigwe – the land of brave and industrious men – pray for you:
May God Almighty continue to strengthen you. May your days be long, your wisdom increase, and your tenure as President of NBA be written in gold as one of the best in history.
May you finish strong and may the years ahead be more glorious than the years past.
We are proud of you, We love you.
We celebrate you.
Happy Birthday, Mazi!
Long Live Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN!
Long Live NBA Okigwe Branch!
Long Live the Nigerian Bar Association!
