The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has introduced a simplified digital procedure for members seeking a Letter of Good Standing, a crucial document often required by courts, law firms, regulatory bodies, and international institutions to verify the standing and integrity of a legal practitioner.
The move aligns with the NBA’s ongoing digital transformation agenda, which aims to make professional services more accessible, transparent, and efficient for its members. By leveraging the NBA Portal, lawyers can now conveniently apply for, track, and obtain their Letter of Good Standing without the need for physical visits or paperwork.
