The Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch (Eagle Bar) under the Chairmanship of Clever N. Owhor, Esq. has officially unveiled the theme and logo for its 2026 Annual Law Week.
The theme for the 2026 Law Week is:
“Rebuilding Public Trust in the Nigerian Legal System.”
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Prof. Josephine A. Agbonika, SAN, who represented the President of Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN said the theme reflects the urgent need to restore confidence in Nigeria’s justice system through ethical legal practice, institutional accountability, judicial integrity, and improved access to justice.
According to the Branch Secretary, Mr. John Oluwasina Adewakun, the official Law Week logo was also unveiled at the event and this logo according to him symbolises fairness, national unity, renewal, and the collective responsibility of legal practitioners to strengthen public trust in the rule of law.

The 2026 Law Week is expected to bring together members of the Bench, Bar, policymakers, civil society stakeholders, and the general public for robust discussions aimed at advancing reforms within Nigeria’s legal system.
