The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has officially released the road map for the highly anticipated 2025 Annual General Conference (AGC) Football Tournament, setting the stage for an exciting competition among various NBA branches.
According to a statement signed by Chief Chukwudi Igwe, Chairman of the 2025 AGC Football Sub-Committee, registration for the tournament will commence on March 20, 2025, and close on April 30, 2025.

Participating branches are required to submit proof of payment to the Football Sub-Committee immediately after payment. Additionally, each team must provide the name and contact details of a representative by April 30, 2025.
Submission of Team List and Player Forms
From April 15 to April 30, 2025, teams must submit their official team lists along with individually completed forms for both players and officials. The Sub-Committee has also allowed for a maximum substitution of three players, which can be made between June 1 and June 30, 2025.
Chief Chukwudi Igwe further stated that the dates for the press briefing and live draw will be communicated to all registered teams once the registration period concludes.
The AGC Football Tournament remains one of the most anticipated side events of the NBA’s Annual General Conference, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among legal professionals across the country.
