As a proud member of the NBA Bwari Branch, I dedicated today to picking up my conference materials for the 2025 Annual General Conference—and let me just say, wow!

The “conference bag tradition” of the NBA is alive and thriving under the leadership of President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN. Over the years, each administration has put its own stamp on this tradition:

The roller tech bag under Olumide Akpata, the stylish travel bag under Yakubu Maikyau, SAN, and now, under our golden boy President Afam Osigwe, we have something truly special—a sleek laptop bag adorned with a beautiful Nigerian Ankara touch.

Inside the bag? A hot-and-cold water bottle, a pen, and other essentials to keep delegates powered through the week. Functional, stylish, and proudly Nigerian—just like the NBA itself.

But that’s not all. The speaker lineup for this year’s conference is world-class, the programme schedule is packed with relevant sessions and engaging discussions, and the Unbarred concert promises to be an unmissable experience.

From thoughtfully curated conference kits to a rich learning and networking agenda, President Afam Osigwe, SAN, alongside Conference Planning Committee leaders Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, and Sammie Somiari, SAN, have gone above and beyond to ensure this AGC will be one to remember.

Enugu, get ready—the Bar is coming, and we’re coming in style!
